WHY BFD (BUNDESFREIWILLIGENDIENST)?
BFD (Bundesfreiwilligendienst) is a federal voluntary service programme in Germany in which students volunteer in social, environmental, cultural or healthcare sectors. Volunteers receive a monthly allowance, gain practical experience and improve their German language skills during the programme. After completing BFD, students can transition into Ausbildung, Studienkolleg and pursue long-term career opportunities in Germany.
