Work Permit and Stay back

  • Eligible students can work up to 20 hours per week during study time and 40 hours per week during holidays.
  • Students are eligible to work full time during vacations if undertaking a course of 12 months or above.
  • The spouse of students, undertaking a study course of Level 9 and above is eligible to work full time.
  • After completion of the course the students can apply for Post Study Work Visa which lasts for up to 3 years.

New Zealand has a wide range of courses to offer in the fields of Animation, Engineering, Medicine, Business Studies, Engineering, Forestry and Hospitality. Scholarships are offered by some universities in New Zealand depending on the academic profile of students. New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships, New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) ,Wellington International Excellence Scholarship are few scholarships that mostly come with a tuition fee waiver and living cost allowance.
